Building codes are just minimum stadards

The builder said "Why stop at the minimum?"

There are three roofed porches each with redwood decks and redwood steps down to concrete landing.

A north porch that's cool in the summer.

A south porch with a mountain view

An east porch a.k.a. "the coffee porch"

Every room flooring is traditional solid oak strip. All interior trim was custom milled from hand selected first quality oak lumber.

Vaulted ceiling to 12 feet high in the kitchen, dining room  and living room.  Flat ceiling 8 feet high in bed rooms bathroom, and utility room.

Built by the current owners in 1996-97, consideration was made for easy future expansion capabilities. The well, electric, natural gas and sewer system were all laid out for easy hookup for additional living space to be added to the east of the house.

Please call the current owner for more information.
